Why "color coding" people harms idea generation

I am sure that you are familiar with personality tests that give people different colors (DISC, Hartman), or four letter symbols (Myers Briggs) based on their personality traits. As much fun as it is to do these tests, they are - in my opinion - a harm to the idea generation process.
